Orange Shirt Day Materials That Honor Survivors and Support Healing
Orange Shirt Day on September 30th honors residential school survivors and recognizes the lasting impacts these institutions had on Indigenous children, families and communities. PSA Worldwide provides commemoration materials that support tribal organizations, educational institutions and community groups in observing this day of remembrance with cultural sensitivity.
Why Orange Shirt Day Products Matter
Orange Shirt Day products give tribal programs and schools tangible ways to participate in truth and reconciliation efforts. The orange shirt symbolizes Phyllis Webstad's story, in which her new orange shirt was taken from her on her first day at residential school. Distributing awareness items during September 30th commemorations creates visible solidarity with survivors while educating audiences about residential school history.
These materials spark conversations about healing and honoring Indigenous resilience.
